Had a Canon SD1000 that fell out of a car and was run over on a dirt road. This camera is the same size, though more rounded, with many upgraded features and uses the same battery and memory so we can use them in the new camera as spares. It takes great pictures and because it is so small you can take it anywhere. Negatives? Sometimes the shutter doesn't fire as fast as I would like. Especially in low light with the flash on. Also, be prepared to use your fingernails to push some of the menu buttons as they are small.
